The Indian Army Tradesman open rallies take place in four phases, namely, online registration, Physical Fitness Test, Medical Test, and Written Exam also known as the Common Entrance Examination (CEE). If a candidate manages to pass all these phases he gets a job in the Indian Army as a Soldier. To submit the online application, a candidate needs to register on the official website of the Indian Army https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/Authentication.aspx
After online registration, candidates need to undergo the Physical Fitness Test (PFT). To appear for PFT, candidates receive admit cards at the registered e-mail id. The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) takes place in three phases- 1.6 km or 1600 m run, at least 6 push-ups to pass the test, 9 feet ditch, and zig-zag balance. 9 feet ditch and zig-zag balance are tests of qualifying nature. The medical test is one of the most essential tests that judge the physical and mental fitness of the candidate and his suitability to serve the country.
