    • Non-Technical

    National Defence Academy Examination (NDA): any candidate who has completed 12th class of 10+2 equivalent of an age between 16 ½ to 19 ½ years is eligible for NDA.

    Combined Defense Services Examination (CDSE): any graduate or equivalent from a well recognized University of an age between 19 to 25 years.

    Territorial Army: The candidate should at least have done graduation or its equivalent of an age between 19 to 42 years.

    Short Service Commission Entry: Any graduate from recognized University of an age between 19 to 25 years.

    • Technical

    Technical Entry Scheme (TES): 10+2 Physics, Chemistry & Maths (aggregate 70% & above to apply) of an age between 16 ½ to 19 ½ years.

    Technical Graduate Courses (TGC): BE/B. Tech in notified streams of an age between 20 to 27 years.

    Short Service Commission Entry: BE/ B. Tech in notified streams of an age between 20 to 27 years.

     

    After an aspirant passes the Non-Technical or Technical Written Exams with desired cutoff  they are called for: 

    Service Selection Board Interview (SSB): SSB Examination comprises of a Five-day personality and intelligence test schedule only if you clear one of the above written exam.

    Followed by Medical Examination.

    Soldiers (General Duty):  Any candidate who has passed Secondary Level School or Matric of an age between 17 ½ to 21 years can join as general duty soldier via Army Bharti.

    Soldiers (Technical): Any candidate who has passed 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English of an age between 17 ½ to 23 years can join as technical soldier via Army Bharti.

    Clerks: Any candidate who has passed 10+2/ Intermediate Examination pass of an age between 17 ½ to 23 years can join as clerk via Army Bharti.

    Nursing Assistants: Any candidate who has passed 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of an age between 17 ½ to 23 years can join as nursing assistant via Army Bharti.

    Tradesman:  10th Pass/ ITI (Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper: 8th pass) of an age between 17 ½ to 23 years can join as tradesman via Bharti. 

    Followed by Medical Examination.
