Indian Air Force Y Group - Full Online Course
The Indian Air Force was officially established on 8 October 1932. Its first ac flight came into being on 01 Apr 1933. It possessed a strength of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (literally, air soldiers). The aircraft inventory comprised of four Westland Wapiti IIA army co-operation biplanes at Drigh Road as the “A” Flight nucleus of the planned No.1 (Army Co- operation) Squadron.

|SELECTION PROCESS||The Indian Airforce selects Airmen (Y group) in three stages|
|STAGE 1: Online Examination for Y group for first cycle will be conducted in the month of March and for second cycle in September.|

Selected candidates : Selected candidates will get their joining letters and will have to report for Training, after which they will join the Indian Airforce as Airmen (Y Group). They will then carry out duties like Administrative assistant, Accounts assistant, Logistics assistant, Operations assistant, Metrological assistant, Medical assistant, and Air Force Police and Security.
