STAGE 2: Candidates qualifying for Stage 1 will be called to appear for Stage 2. Stage 2 will include

• Physical Fitness Test 
• Adaptability Test
• Medical Examination

STAGE 3:  After clearing stage 2 merit list of selected candidates will be released

• Provisionally Selected List (PSL)
• Joining Letter

Age: Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (inclusive dates) are eligible to apply for 01/2026 intake (March 2025 Exam)
In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on the date of enrolment should be 21 years.

Marital Status 

Only unmarried candidates (male & female) will be eligible for enrolment as Agniveervayu and they shall undertake not to marry during the defined engagement period of four years.

Educational Qualification: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Or 

Passed two years Vocational Course from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

Physical Qualification :

Height (min.) – 152.5 cm for male candidates and 152 cm for female candidates. For candidates belonging to North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cms will be accepted. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cms.

Weight – Should be proportional to height and age

Chest – The chest wall should be well proportioned with a minimum range of expansion of 05 cm.

Written Test: Written Test is conducted online twice a year. The paper is objective in nature consisting of 50 questions to be attempted in 45 minutes. Paper will have questions from 2 sections with a time limit for each section. The paper pattern is as follows

Marking Scheme: Each question carries one mark, awarded for every correct answer. There is a negative marking of 1/4 that is deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are deducted for not attempting the question.

 Stage 2 : Candidates clearing Stage 1 of selection will proceed for Stage 2 at Airforce Selection Centre. All the test of Stage 2 are qualifying in nature and conducted offline. 

 Document Verification: Candidates are required to carry documents that will be verified at the Air Force Selection Centre. Candidates need to carry the following documents in original along with two attested photocopies at the venue, failing to do so might result in rejection. Please carry the following documents-

• Colour print out of Admit Card
• Colour print out of duly filled application form downloaded on completion of online registration
• HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, glue stick, stapler and black/blue ball point pen for writing.
• Eight copies of un-attested passport size colour photograph (which was used for the online application registration).
• Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation passing certificate (required for verification of candidate’s name, father’s
  name and his/her date of birth).
• Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation marks sheet (only applicable for three years Diploma/ two years Vocational
  Course holders when English is not a subject in Diploma/Vocational Course).
• Original and four self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination passing certificate and marks sheet.
• Original and four self-attested photocopies of Domicile Certificate/ COAFP Certificate. The candidate shall produce the chosen ‘Domicile
  Certificate’ (issued by any Gazetted Officer in Revenue Department or any other official authorized by the State Government of the particular state/UT) or COAFP Certificate while reporting for Phase-II examination.
• Original and four self-attested photocopies of duly filled Children of Air Force Personnel (COAFP) Certificate (format available on AFNET
  CASB webpage) for Children of Serving Air Force Personnel
• Original Phase-I Admit Card used during Phase-I test bearing Air Force seal and invigilator’s signature.
• Body tattoo photographs
• Original and four self-attested photocopies of NCC ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate (if applicable).
• Copy of permission letter obtained from unit/ station (Applicable only for serving Agv NC).
