About Sainik School

Sainik Schools are a network of schools in India designed to prepare students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other military academies. They are managed by the Sainik Schools Society, which is an autonomous society under the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. AISSEE 2025 for Academic to Academic Session 2025-26

National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Sainik School entrance exam i.e. the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) in January 2025. The exam takes place to offer admissions to deserving young boys and girls into Sainik Schools across the nation. The students who pass the AISSEE exam get admission in classes VI and IX in all Sainik Schools. It is a national-level exam that takes place every year. The idea of developing public schools for boys and girls hailing from different backgrounds was conceived by the then Defence Minister Shri V.K. Krishna Menon in 1961.

Sainik School Class 9 Exam Pattern

The Sainik School Class 9 exam consists of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). It is an offline pen-paper-based exam. Candidates need to submit their answers in an OMR sheet. The Sainik School entrance exam for class IX comprises five sections, namely, Mathematics, Intelligence, English, General Science, and Social Science. Students need to pass each section individually to clear the written examination. They should score a minimum of 25% in each subject and a minimum aggregate of 40%. Note: There is no negative marking in the Sainik School entrance test. Students can attempt every question without the fear of losing marks for wrong answers.

How to clear the AISSEE 2025 and RMS CET 2024 examinations?
