Admiral Karambir Singh

Karambir Singh: Admiral Karambir is the 24th and the present Chief of the Naval Staff of India. Born to an Air Force Officer, Admiral Singh is a second-generation officer. He joined the National Defence Academy and was a part of its Hunter Squadron. He is Param Vishisth Seva Medal, Ati Vishisth Seva Medal and Aide-de-camp awardee for his valour and courage. 

General_Dalbir_Singh

Dalbir Singh Suhag: General Dalbir Singh Suhag is the present Indian High Commissioner to Seychelles. He is a former Indian Army General. Born on 28 December 1954 General Singh is a third-generation officer. He joined the National Defence Academy in 1970. He was awarded Param Vishisth Seva Medal, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, Ati Vishisth Seva Medal, Vishisth Seva Medal and Aide-de-camp for his bravery. 

Ajai Shukla

Ajai Shukla: Ajai Shukla is an Indian journalist who writes articles on defence policy, production and acquisition and currently works as consulting editor with Business Standard. He also served in the Indian Army and was retired as a Colonel. He earlier worked with news channels such as DD News and NDTV. He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy.

Ian Cardozo

Ian Cardozo: The first-war disabled officer to command a battalion and then a brigade, Major General Ian Cardozo graduated from the National Defence Academy. The braveheart stepped on a landmine during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 when he had to cut his injured leg with his own Khukri. He received Ati Vishisth Seva Medal and Seva Medal for his unmatchable bravery.  

arun khetrapal

Arun Khetrapal: Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal got martyred in the Battle of Basantar of the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. He was born in Pune, Maharashtra and received Param Vir Chakra posthumously for his act of valour. Second Lieutenant Khetrapal joined the National Defence Academy in June 1967.
