All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 24 was conducted on 28 January 2024 for admission to classes 6th and 9th for academic session 2024-25. NTA will tentatively declare the result of the AISSEE 2024 examination between 12 March to 14 March 2024. Choice of Sainik School in Home State or Other State – The distribution of seats in Sainik Schools is state-wise and in all Sainik Schools 67% seats are reserved for candidates from home state and 33% seats are reserved for candidates from other states.
Gender – The gender of the candidate plays an important role in the selection of Sainik School as seats are distributed according to gender. In all Sainik Schools 10% of total seats or 10, whichever is more, is reserved for girls.
