Selection Procedure for Indian Army Nursing Assistant 2025
The selection procedure comprises the following phases:
- Written Test – This is the first stage of the recruitment process. The candidates are selected through a Common Entrance Examination (CEE). It is an online exam of a one-hour duration. It consists of questions from Biology (15 questions), Chemistry (15 questions), Physics (5 questions), Maths (5 questions), and General Knowledge (10 questions). There are 50 questions in the paper, each carrying 4 marks. Hence the total weightage of the paper is 200 marks. There is a negative marking and a candidate loses 1 mark for every wrong answer.
- Physical Fitness Test (at rally site) – In this phase, the candidates must undergo a 1.6 km run, beam, ditch, and zig-zag balance. The 1.6 km run and beam carry marks, while ditch and zig-zag balance tests are just of qualifying nature.
- Physical Measurement (at rally site) – Physical measurements will be carried out as per the Physical Standards laid down by the Indian Army.
- Medical Test – At this stage, the candidates undergo a thorough medical examination as per laid down medical standards laid down by the Indian Army.
