Crack CDS 2022
The Indian Defence Forces are a class apart from any other job profile in this country. CDS 2 2021 is the way to make the dream of joining armed forces come true. The Combined Defence Forces Exam, which is commonly known as the CDS Exam is a well-known exam that lets deserving candidates enter the world of warriors. The candidates who manage to pass this exam are sent to the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy for further training. The CDS exam is a combined exam for all three wings of the defence forces. The UPSC is expected to release CDS 2 2021 notification in the month of August .
The CDS exam is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Selection Commission (UPSC). The candidates who pass the written exam have to appear for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. After which the selected candidates are sent to their respective academies.
The CDS 1 2021 forms have been filled and the exam will take place on 7 February 2021. Candidates who have not filled the 2021 form can apply for CDS 2 2021. The first CDS 2 2021 exam’s online application will start filling by August 2021.
Paper pattern of CDS 2 2021
The written CDS exam has three different exams, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The age limit for the CDS exam is different for academies. If a candidate wishes to join the Indian Military Academy or Air Force Academy, he must be 19 to 24 years old. The age limit for Naval Academy is 19 to 22 years. Whereas, the age limit for Officers’ Training Academy is 19 to 27 years.
The whole question paper will have multiple choice questions only. There will be negative marks in the CDS exam, 1\3rd marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Commission has the right to fix the qualifying marks in any or all the subjects. Candidates are not allowed to use calculators to answer the objective type questions like Test Booklets.
The educational qualifications required to apply for the Indian Military Academy and Officers’ Training Academy are a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering for Naval Academy. B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering for Air Force Academy. The CDS exam pattern for Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy consists of three objective type papers. Each paper i.e, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge have a weightage of 100 marks each.
Candidates who wish to join the Officers’ Training Academy are required to write two objective type paper of English and General Knowledge. The weightage of each paper is 100 marks.
