ARJUN
Arjun is a third-generation tank developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The Arjun has a , one PKT 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun, 120mm main gun with armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot ammunition, and another 12.7mm machine gun. . It can run at a maximum speed of 67kmph. The crew of the Arjun tank comprises four members as follows: Commander, Gunner, Loader, Driver.
T-90 BHISHMA
T-90 is a legendary Russian tank. Back in 2001 from Russia India purchased 310 T-90S tanks. T-90S is an upgrade version of the T-72 tanks that India now produces domestically. T-90S Bhishma has become an upgraded version by a joint collaboration of the Indian, Russian and French engineers.
The T-90 Bhishma tanks are equipped with the French Thales-built Catherine-FC thermal sights and utilize Russian Kontakt-5 K-5 explosive reactive armored plates. The tank has the power of an 1130 HP engine and can run at a top speed of 60kmph. It has a 12.7mm heavy machine gun and 125mm smoothbore main gun.
T-72 Ajeya
T-72 Ajeya is an upgrade on the Russian made T-72 tanks. In 1978 India purchased 500 T-72 tanks from the USSR. The technology was subsequently transferred to India and tanks started getting produced domestically. T-72 tank has a main gun of 125mm.
9P148 | Anti-Tank Missile Carrier
The 9P148 is a Soviet anti-tank missile carrier. This anti-tank vehicle has got no proper name and is referred to by its military index designation. It is based
on a BRDM-2 armored scout car chassis and is fitted with Konkurs (Western designation AT-5 Spandrel) anti-tank guided missiles.
It was a successor to the 9P122 anti-tank missile carrier, which was also based on the BRDM-2 chassis, but packed older and less capable Malyutka (AT-3 Sagger) missiles. The 9P148 was first seen in 1977. This missile carrier was exported to a number of Soviet allies. Despite its age, the 9P148 is still used by the Russian military. It is also operational with some former Soviet republics and export operators, including Armenia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, and Slovakia.
