Sainik School 2025 Exam – Admission Process

The Sainik School admission process includes a written examination, e-counseling, followed by a medical examination, and document verification.

  1. Written Examination:
    • The written exam for class 6 consists of questions in English, Mathematics, GK, and Intelligence. The written exam for class 9 consists of questions in English, Mathematics, Intelligence, General Science, and Social Science.
    • The papers are designed to test the candidate’s intelligence, knowledge, and aptitude.
  2. E-counseling:
    • Candidates who qualify in the written examination need to register for e-counseling. This is an online process where students are allowed to give choices of Sainik School and New Sainik Schools.
  3. Medical Examination:
    • Candidates shortlisted in various rounds of e-counseling must undergo a medical examination conducted by the designated authorities to ensure that they meet the required medical standards.

Sainik School 2025 Exam: Scheme of Examination

Sainik School Scheme of Examination for Class VI

The AISSEE for class VI consists of four sections, namely, Mathematics, Intelligence, Language, and General Knowledge. Students need to pass each section individually to clear the written examination. They should score a minimum of 25% in each subject and a minimum aggregate of 40%. The Sainik School entrance exam for class IX comprises five sections, namely, Mathematics, Intelligence, English, General Science, and Social Science.
