About UP Sainik School

Sainik School, Lucknow was established in July 1960.  It was the first Sainik School in India. Later, other Sainik Schools were established under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey UP Sainik School is a co-educational school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The UP Sainik School Society manages and administers this institution. It is the only Sainik school that is fully financed and managed by the State Government. The UP Sainik School exam date has been announced.

Admission

The UP Sainik School takes admission in Classes VI and IX through an entrance examination. The entrance examination was earlier scheduled for 16 January 2022. But, considering the worsening situation of Covid 19 in the country at that time, the concerned authorities postponed the examination. Since then, the students were desperately waiting for the fresh dates. That wait is finally over. The concerned authorities have announced fresh dates for the UP Sainik School entrance examination. The UP Sainik School Exam Date is Sunday, 24th April 2022. Students have to download fresh admit cards using the link  https://upsainikschool.vidyawell.com/Login/Login Students can download fresh admit cards from 17 April 2022.
