About Rashtriya Military School
Rashtriya Military Schools are category ‘A’ establishment of the Army. The Directorate General of Military Training at IHQ (Integrated Head Quarter) of the Ministry of Defence MOD(Army) administers these institutions. The Defence Secretary is the head of these institutions. The Ministry of Defence is the apex body governing these schools. As of date, there are 5 Military Schools operational in India (Ajmer, Dholpur, Chhail, Belgaum, Bengaluru). Date of Examination

Process after clearing the written examination
Interview: Candidates who qualify in the written examination and are shortlisted are called for an interview at one of the Rashtriya Military Schools. To decide the final merit, marks scored in the interview and the score of the written test is added. No traveling allowance is payable for your journey undertaken to appear for the interview.
Result: A merit list of all successful candidates and allotment of school will be declared by IHQ (Integrated Head Quarter) of MoD (Army), DGMT/MT-15. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates who were not successful in the written examination. The final result will be available on the official website of Rashtriya Military School and can be accessed using the link https://www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in/ and on the army Intranet.
Final Selection: Candidates who are selected in order of merit based on the total marks scored by them in the admission test and the interview are granted admission to different Rashtriya Military Schools based on the availability of vacancies, medical fitness of the candidate, and as per the reservation criteria for various categories. Qualified candidates will be allotted school purely on the basis of Merit and vacancy available in school.
