About Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas
The Government of India started the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas as per the National Policy of Education (1986). These schools are managed and governed by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. It is an autonomous organization functional under the Government of India. At present, a total number of 661 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are operational across 27 states and 8 Union Territories of India. This post gives an insight into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in India.
