About Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas
The Government of India started the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas as per the National Policy of Education (1986). These schools are managed and governed by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. It is an autonomous organization functional under the Government of India. The online applications for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2022 for class 9 for academic session 2022-23 have already been submitted. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will conduct the JNVST 2022 class 9 on Saturday, 09th April 2022. The tentative date for the declaration of the result is June 2022.
At present, a total number of 661 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are operational across 27 states and 8 Union Territories of India. The basic aim of these schools is to provide quality education to students from rural backgrounds. Besides education, these schools want to instill cultural values in students and make them physically fit to survive in this competitive world.

Scheme of examination for JNV Entrance Test
The JNV entrance exam will consist of Objective Type Questions. It is an OMR-based test. The question paper consists of 100 questions with a total weightage of 100 marks. The duration of the exam is two and a half hours. The paper consists of four sections, namely
- Mathematics – This section consists of 35 questions and the weightage of this section is 35 marks.
- Science – This section consists of 35 questions and the weightage of this section is 35 marks.
- English – This section consists of 15 questions and the weightage of this section is 15 marks.
- Hindi – This section consists of 15 questions and the weightage of this section is 15 marks.
An important point to note here is that a candidate has to secure qualifying marks individually for each section. Hence, it is always wise to spend time for each section wisely in order to qualify for that particular section.
