Indian Army Clerk Exam Criteria
| AGE : Unmarried male candidates of age 17 ½ to 21 Years as on 01 October 2025 for April 2025 online CEE. Candidate born between 01 Oct 2004 to 01 April 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Educational Qualification : The applicant should have studied and passed English and Math/ Accounts / Bookkeeping in class 12th. Minimum aggregate score of 60% and minimum 50% marks in each subject is required. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Physical Qualification : Height (min.) – 162 cm, Weight (min.) – 50 Kg, Chest (min.)– 77 (+5 cm expansion).Relaxation in physical standards will be provided to candidates coming from North Eastern States and Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Additional Relaxation might be granted to wards of service men/ex-servicemen/war widow and exceptional sports person. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Physical Fitness Test (PFT) : Candidates meeting physical standards will progress to Physical Fitness Test of Stage 1 of selection at rally site. The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is Qualifying in nature. They have to clear 1.6 km run, Beam Pull Ups (minimum 6 pull ups), 9 feet Ditch Jump and crossing a Zig-Zag Balance. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Medical Examination :Candidates clearing the Physical Fitness Test will appear for medical examination. Indian Army wants candidates who are physically fit and mentally strong. Medical Examination will include test for vision and hearing, knock knees, bone deformity, hydrocele, varicocele, piles and other diseases. Unfit candidates will have to appear at MH/CH/BH/GH for specialist review. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Document Verification : Candidates are required to carry documents which will be verified at the Rally Venue. Candidates need to carry the following documents in original along with two attested photo copies at venue, failing to do so might result in rejection. Please carry the following documents-

Written Test : Candidates qualifying Stage 1 will be called to appear for Common Entrance Examination (CEE).The paper will be Objective in nature and printed both in English and Hindi. The paper will have two parts, and total of 50 questions to be attempted in 1 hour. Each part will have 32 marks as minimum qualifying marks and aggregate of 80 mark as qualifying for both parts. Marking Scheme – Each question carries 4 marks. There is negative marking of 1/2 marks for every incorrect answer. No penalty is imposed for not attempting the question. Relaxation in marks is given for candidates having special certificates. Candidates having multiple certificate can avail concession for any one certificate.
