About the Indian Air Force
The Indian Air Force is the air arm of the Indian Armed Forces. The mission of the Indian Air Force is to conduct aerial warfare during war or conflict. It was officially established on 08 October. Since 1950, the Indian Air Force has been involved in four wars with Pakistan. Other major operations undertaken by the IAF include Operation Vijay, Operation Meghdoot, Operation Cactus, and Operation Poomalai. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Air Force. Recently, the Government has introduced a new model for recruitment in the Indian Armed Forces known as the Agnipath Scheme or Tour of Duty (ToD). The Indian Air Force has released the Agniveer Vayu notification for the 01/2024 intake. The online applications start on 27 July 2023 and close on 17 August 2023. Agniveer Vayu Non-Science (Y Group) – Scheme of Examination
The online examination for Agniveer Vayu Non-Science is a 45 minutes test that consists of two sections namely, English and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). It comprises 50 questions. Each question carries 1 mark. For every wrong answer, a 0.25 mark is deducted. The composition of the test is as follows:
