About Rashtriya Military School

Rashtriya Military Schools are category ‘A’ establishment of the Army. The Directorate General of Military Training at IHQ (Integrated Head Quarter) of Ministry of Defence MOD(Army) administers these institutions. The Defence Secretary is the head of these institutions.  The Ministry of Defence is the apex body governing these schools. As of date, there are 5 Military Schools operational in India (Ajmer, Dholpur, Chhail, Belgaum, Bengaluru). The RMS entrance exam for the academic session 2022-23 was scheduled for 23 January 2022. However, the exam was postponed temporarily due to the prevailing conditions of Covid 19 in the country. The management has announced the fresh date for the RMS entrance exam.

Now that the conditions of Covid 19 have improved and the third wave is on the decline, the management has announced fresh date for the conduct of examination. The fresh date for the conduct of the examination is Sunday, 03rd April 2022. So, students prepare accordingly.
