Eligibility Criteria for the Indian Army Agniveer GD 2024 Exam
The age and minimum educational qualification required to apply for Army GD are as follows:

Selection Procedure for Indian Army Agniveer GD 2024 Exam
The selection procedure comprises the following phases:
- Written Test – This is the first stage of the recruitment process. The candidates are selected through a Common Entrance Examination (CEE). It is an online exam of a one-hour duration. It consists of questions from Maths (15 questions), Science (15 questions), General Knowledge (15 questions), Reasoning (5 questions). There are 50 questions in the paper, each carrying 2 marks. Hence the total weightage of the paper is 100 marks. There is a negative marking and a candidate loses 0.5 marks for every wrong answer. The duration of exam is 1 hour.
- Physical Fitness Test (at rally site) – In this phase, the candidates must undergo a 1.6 km run, beam, ditch, and zig-zag balance. The 1.6 km run and beam carry marks, while ditch and zig-zag balance tests are just of qualifying nature. The marks of Physical Fitness Tests are counted towards the generation of final merit.
- Physical Measurement (at rally site) – Physical measurements are done as per the Physical Standards laid down by the Indian Army.
- Medical Test – At this stage, the candidates undergo a thorough medical examination as per the medical standards laid down by the Indian Army.
